In my own personal hell, the Beach Boys will be played constantly...I HATE THE BEACH BOYS!!! (except for 'Pet Sounds', that was a pretty good album)

I'll go with The Beatles, despite having tremendous respect for The Beach Boys and Brian Wilson in particular. Unfortunately The Beatles' catalog is so varied, yet so consistently excellent, that it's hard to compete; I think history has already decided that Lennon and McCartney were the foremost songwriters of the 20th century.
The Beach Boys, despite having some truly groundbreaking (and moving) material, suffer from many limp albums, and their music sticks to closely to one particular genre. They are legends, to be sure, but The Beatles set the standard all others use for comparison.

Definitley the Beatles. Beach Boys were good but a lot of their material all sounds the same. The Beatles sound was constantly evolving.

I'm with the Beatles, too. I mean, they have so many different sounds, out-of-this-world lyrics, and their stuff is timeless. People should know who the Beatles were in the year 3000.
