or, they were naturally there, and the park was just situated around it.

I believe you have a very limited experience of the planet you live on. How old are you? You understand you must be at least 13 to use Yahoo!Answers.

The answer is that the big rocks may have been brought there and placed by construction machinery for scenic purposes, or, in some kinds of terrain, they may have simply been preexisting features of the landscape, and were landscaped around.

It would be hard to say, not knowing what you mean by "the park."

If the park is where glaciers used to be, 20,000 years ago, then the glaciers brought the rocks there.
