Alright, my roommate has lost his snake. It is red corn snake, about 3 months old, 14 inches long and we all love him. He got out of the terrarium because someone forgot to close the top.
Plan of our apartment is almost like this one :

Except for 2 bathrooms are on the left&right sides. Snake lived in my roommates room which was on the far right side.

Where could we possibly find him? It's been 4 days since we've lost him

Most snakes will seek out a hiding place that is secure and damp.
Place damp towels in strategic locations along the walls. The snake probably moves at night, and it is probably dehydrated.
Sooner or later you will find it under a towel, assuming that it is still in the house.
Baiting it with a mouse will not work.
You should buy a REAL cage- aquariums with screen tops are NOT escape proof!

Our snakes get out pretty often, so I have a few tips. First of all, make sure you put a towel or blanket across the bottoms of outside doors, so he can't get outside. Check under furniture, behind the fridge, under the stove, all the usual places. Then check any vent holes--snakes like heat, and they can squeeze into really tiny spots. Look in unusual spots too. I once found my garter snake in the tub drain--only his head was sticking out. Good luck!

Your roommate has an albino corn snake. Look in every dark space. It might have crawled under, or even into, the bottom of the fridge. Good luck.

Theres something alluring yet diverse on all species of snakes. toddler ball pythons have the nicest shape, i known like a homo and pronounced awwww in a puppy keep once I observed them one time. Milk Snakes are available in a collection of diverse colorings and in my opinon have the nicest colorings. And corn snakes many times have the nicest varieties, finding on the corn snake. yet whilst your finding for an answer on the bigger snakes then i might could say a crimson tail boa has superb transformations, and a eco-friendly tree boa basically has an excellent shade of eco-friendly.

snakes usually seek out heat and prefer dark spaces, he could of made his way under the floorboards. Try leaving out a mouse for him to eat as he has a powerful sense of smell, good luck

Well, after picking myself up off the floor after reading some of these answers (,damp towels,??????),the chances of you actually finding a snake that small just by looking are slim, but you may be v.v.v.lucky (fingers crossed).
If its escapes then its going to go for somewhere dark or warm or both.So please dont turn up the heating because if its decided to hide in the radiator fins(dark & warm) you will just cook him alive.Bearing in mind it will have already found somewhere dark and warm to hide then just putting a few hides around the room wont really work because you are just trying to tempt it from one secure place to another with no added incentive for it to change places.
If it hasn't fed in the last few days put a defrost pinkie mouse or 2 in a couple of the hides. If the room is at an ambient temperature of around 20-25 deg celcius or higher, then you dont really need to worry about him getting too cold The mice should be a big enough attraction to bring him out of his hiding place but warm them up a bit first.
try if poss to make sure all escape routes out of the room are secure and wait. One other trick that ive used to catch bigger snakes for people and may also work for smaller is to sprinkle flour around the edge of the room in a neat "band" about 5" wide and if it goes through the flour you will have a visual aid as to where he has gone.Dont use talc for this though as it is too fragrant.good luck.

They can hide in the walls, etc. Try putting a hot pad out set on warm to try to attract the snake.

My garter snake used to crawl into a suitcase in my closet every time she got loose. Look in dark, quiet places. Inside boots in closets...in laundry baskets etc... Good luck!
