Clouds form when the dewpoint reaches the LCL forming clouds.

Yes that is correct. In low pressure areas clouds form. What happens in a low pressure is the air is rising and cooling which allows the humidity to increase. When the humidity reaches 100%, then clouds can start forming. Now the different type clouds form depending on the atmospheric conditions. The other guy who said LCL well it's not incorrect, but its to specific. LCL stands for Lift Condensation Level, but don't worry about that becasue it's a complicated branch of fluid dynamics and need sophistcated mathematics to figure it out. What I just told you is a good solid understanding.

Yes,you are right. When there is a low pressure area, winds from the surrounding areas converge there and are forced to rise resulting in convection currents. If the air which rises is warm and humid, the rising air cools and condensation starts at a particular height as the cold air cannot hold all the moisture .The water vapour condenses on what is called condensation nuclei to form tiny water droplets.Millions of such droplets combine together to form clouds.
So,in general, low pressure areas are regions of bad weather with cloud, rain and strong winds.
