Could this be worth anything today?

Where would I research stuff like this or bring it to? Is there anywhere online where I could see this?

Nothing. They pressed TONS of opera 78's

But if you want to research, go to ebay and do a search for COMPLETED listings of similar items.

It will not tell youwhat it is 'worth' but it will give you a sense of what people are willing to pay.

Probably nothing, as most 78 records of any worth have now been transferred to CD. Who are the performers?

It's unlikely to be worth very much unless it's a real rarity. To find this out, you would need to supply:

Label and catalogue numbers
Condition of the discs
Artists performing
Are CDs in a presentation album(s) or loose?
Are any CDs missing (suggested by missing consecutive catalogue Nos)?

how many 78RPM records is La Traviata??? ... If it was La Boheme it may have had more value to someone since that was the first complete opera on 78s

Depends on condition , rarity, cast etc. Also how many of us are able to play on present day phonographs. I have hundreds of 78s and am lucky to have a pre-war magnificent Magnavox. My suggestion is keep it, play it, enjoy it, learn from it.
