if you are bleeding and you are not on your period what can that mean?

I have been over with my period for at least two weeks but all of a sudden i began to bleed. it is not heavy or thick but it is a watery blood. what would that mean?

Sometimes this can mean an infection but the only way to find out for sure is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.
