We are in a new house in Riverstone Upper Hutt. We had BB installed. Very slow BB speed. No upload speed. Have reported this multiple times. Get told today by the Xtra help(less) person that he suggests we cancel our subscription and go somewhere else because there is nothing more that can be done for us!! Nice! Telecom are totally uninterested. Anyone else also having these problems?

I would call them back and ask to speak with the supervisor. I would explain to him how many times you have called previously without any relief. I would also say how you spoke with an employee of their company that told you to go somewhere else and ask if this person could not see your frustrations and how it would be very easy for anyone to lose faith in their services.If this person can not relieve your problem right then then ask for a refund of your total monies paid from the start because the company never provided you with what it had offered. Breach of contract on their part if you ask me, especially if the supervisor can't help you. I have had this problem with a cell phone provider and stuck with it for a total of 30 hours of speaking to different customer reps and managers and supervisors. I was at the point of tears which i never have happen but I didn't give up because it became a matter of principle and i was super pissed off. So I eventually was given a 500 dollar credit and a 450.00 phone free and 400 minutes extra a month on the second phone they also gave me. It was all about sticking with it and documenting the 39 different peoples names i spoke with. I finally got to the top of the wheel and talked for 3 hours with the person till it was ultimately resolved

you like me have brought a house to far from the exchange.Their technology is so slow and they wont up grade.If you can afford it go satellite with orcon

My family in NZ uses them too - they have had NOTHING but problems. If I was you I would find another ISP.
