this was sent to me and i noticed word changes throughout the paragraphs. what is the meaning?

I felt myself shake
You take my breath away
Soon I will awake
This happens everyday

but What's not to love
I tell the stars above
Everytime I see you smile
My heart just breaks

I felt myself shake
You took my breath away
but I woke up
and had nothing to say

but What's not to love
I ask the stars above
Everytime I see you smile
I have nothing to say

Just a standard love song with predictable lyrics. The sort of thing a boy band sings.

what a beautiful poem/song!

"i felt myself shake
you take my breath away
Soon i will wake
this happens everyday"

---this person has the same dream everyday of someone, a beautiful someone (probably someone he remembers from a long time ago) in his dream, but everyday, as he thought it was real, he now when he has the dream, he knows that she is just a thought... which makes him sad (by the way he put "this happens everyday", it makes the statement sound like a "sigh" while he said it.

"but what's not to love
I tell the stars above
everytime i see you smile
my heart just breaks"

----- as for MY personal experience... whenever i see a picture of my good friend smiling, my heart breaks because he's dead and he was depressed all his life... so in this case, the quote "everytime i see you smile, my heart breaks" is either because she didn't smile a lot and she was a nice person who had suffered. then, combining it with "what's not to love", it gives an effect that he's just thinking "i see her smiling now, once she's gone... but it's still as lovely as ever"

" I felt myself shake
You took my breath away
but i woke up
and still had nothing to say"

---- much alike with the first one, yes, but this one brongs you to the point to where it might be another day or that he dreamt again... giving him another sad awakening finding out that she wasn't really there again, he has nothing to say because she was never there.

"but what's not to love
I ask the stars above
everytime i see you smile
i have nothing to say"

-----pretty much a combination of everything in one little paragraphs... he asks the stars (meaning the dreams, his thoughts, his consience, himself, the oblivious thoughts in his brain) "what's not to love" (kinda' being sarcastic...) "everytime i see you smile... i have nothing to say"... he making the point clear == he doesn't have the hope anymore that she was actually there, taking over his thoughts of his conscience.

a pretty sad poem, i have to say... i hope what i wrote wasn't really as confusing as it looks to me :\

please, could you tell me who wrote this ?

thank you ^^
