I think women - or at least some of us - get over it more easily than men because we're emotionally more stable (you wouldn't know it by the way they talk about us). I'm a survivor and so are you. If there are 3 billion girls/women in the world, they simply don't need 3 billion men to become impregnated and carry on the human race. Cheez, I wouldn't mind a mere dozen, as long as I got to them first.

I don't think WOMEN "get over it" easier then men do. I think it is an individual thing and I believe a lot of times people PRETEND to be over it when they clearly are not over it. I think if you have a significant relationship with someone whether it is good or bad it will effect you for the rest of your life.

Its not always that way sometimes it takes a long time for men and women to get over it

Listen up... its better you learn this now then later. Women don't 'get over it'! They just make you think they do until the next time you mess up. Then all of the sudden they are upset about it again. But now it is even worse than when it is first done because they have to be reminded of it. Anytime you have done something wrong, just admit it and gravel for forgiveness. Whatever you do, don't argue. My husband has perfected the effortless "yes dear... uh-huh.... yes dear"

It all depends on what you are talking about? I think men are more apt to get over most things quicker then most women simply because women in general are much more emotional then men are :)

Some women will get over it quicker if they weren't really that into you or if they found someone else before ending it. Some women just don't see any point in harping on it ...if it's over they just prefer to move on..what is the point in dwelling on it? Nothing!! It doesn't change anything...Hope this helped.

I think in many cases women have a stronger self-preservation instinct. Probably because they are usually the ones primarily responsible for child rearing. Survive or your children won't survive. It's in our programing.

Women are by nature and genetics the nurturers and carers and are used to multi-tasking, bookkeeper, cook, nurse etc. therefore its easier to "get over it' we just dont have time not to..
