My water didnt break with my first one but i was having contractions so they went ahead and broke it. They sent me home o see if my water will break it hasnt yet and i am still having contractions. i tried walking, a warm bath nothing is working. whats the deal here?? If i go back and with me having the contractions still and havent dilated anymore what will they do? please someone help me!

Hey, Good luck and Congrats! It sounds like bub's is on it's way! If in doubt, get it checked out. The hospital will either admit you, or send you back home...labour can last variously depending on the person. My mum went 5 days with my brother, yet my neighbour went 1 hour with her son! But if you do feel you need medical assistance, or are unsure about what's going on in there, go straight to the hospital. There's no such thing as an over-worrying mum-to-be....but there is such a thing as a caring one! Your doing the right thing! My thoughts and wishes are with you and your baby! :)

Eventually, the hospital is going to have to keep you whether your water has broken or not. If you haven't dilated, they could possible send you home again. Is there somewhere you can walk, like a mall or something? Walking is supposed to help with dilation. I wish you plenty of good luck. Congratulations.

Thats fully average, the child begins getting his function to make his approach by way of the beginning canal. However, it may well nonetheless be a couple of weeks earlier than hard work begins. I began shedding round 36 weeks too and my son was once born three days after his due date

I've heard the hospital wont keep you unless your dialated to 3 or 4. They may have to give you pitocin. If your in that much pain, get yourself to the hospital, and if they try to send you home again, demand that you stay there or be given something for the pain. Refuse to leave. It sounds like you need to be there. Goodluck and congrats
