Baseball. Not that track doesn't take skill (it takes lots of it). But there's so much you need to be able to do in baseball. You have to be able to hit a ball (think about it, you're consider successful if you fail 7 out of 10 times), you need to be strong (the long ball isn't necessary, but managers like it), you have to be able to field, run great distances, and throw. It's all very hard.

I was a track girl and trust me, it's baseball. I assume you are talking about running and not the "fielding" events. Anyone can run, albeit some faster than others and at different paces but anyone can do it. Most people can't hit a baseball, throw a baseball (correctly) or even catch a baseball for that matter. No disrespect to track people, it just takes more skill to play baseball.

Did both as young man. And I would say Baseball. Track does require skill, but you don't have to hit a sphere coming at you at 90 miles per hour with a stick. That is the big difference.

Baseball requires more skills. You can't teach someone to run fast or jump high, for the most part you are born with that ability. Most of the requirements to be a good baseball player are acquired skills that are learned and perfected over time.

I think they both take a lot of skill...but Baseball takes alot more. And not everybody can make the cut as a baseball player. There is alot of things to being a good baseball player you have to hit, field, be smart on the bags, catch, alot of hand and eye coordination that not everybody has. Not to mention you have to be smart.

I think some track events take skill others don't. Like pole vaulting takes a lot of skill, but any retard can do a 100 yard dash. Baseball is all skill.

In my opinion it depends on how you are. I think that track takes more work, but baseball requires more brains. There ya go.

Track..you just do a lot of running and exercising... Baseball takes more skill. You need speed, good eye sight, etc.

Baseball requires greater skills, such as hand/eye co-ordination. But you have to be in better shape to run track.
