and went everywhere with you?
What was it?
How old were you when you gave it up?

I had two stuffed animals, a dog named Farfel and a teddy bear named sooty because of the brown grey color that wouldn't wash out.

I had yellow blanket so many years ago, after that i had this soft monkey puppet that I took everywhere. Can't find the monkey (don't think I've had it for a few years) but I now have a teddy bear from Christmas 2006 that i sleep with. >_<

I also collect beanie babies(I have about 25 now, i buy one every Thursday) I have a few more teddies and some teddy bear statues.

Oh, and if you're wondering. I am a guy, I'm 17, and I don't think it's weird (and hey, some girls think it's cute).

I had a blanket. It was a comforter (twin size) and it was soooo soft and warm. I didn't take it outside with me, but I couldn't sleep without it.
I got it when I was 4 or 5. It had a bunny on it. Eventually it became so faded that you could barely see the picture on it.
It started to get rips in it, so I'd sew them up.
I slept with it until I was about 12, when eventually, it just fell apart. (I mean that literally- the fabric was so thin that it wouldn't even hold the stiches anymore)

I was given this white teddy bear in a pink ballerina outfit. I named her Suzie and every night I slept with my Suzie bear. I still have my bear, she use to lay against the wall on my bed but my husband seemed to have a small problem with that she she's retired to the night stand.

I still sleep with my two baby blankets my great grandmother made. Their woolen, and very worn out by now. Mostly the blue, pink, and white one. I never went anywhere though, without my favorite one that I called 'Blankey Bop', I still feel really queasy sleeping with out the blanket...And a teddy bear.

I think it's perfectly fine. It can bring a sense of comfort to them. I'm 35 and before my grandpa [who was extremely close to me] passed away when i was 11, he gave me a teddy bear that sings a lullaby, and since then, it's been through every bed I've ever bought, and it sits there every night, and i STILL keep it near me. I don't assume they've been through alot, like i said, it might just bring a sense of comfort to the person.

I had a teddy bear named, of all things Teddy, He went with me everywhere I went. He had these big ears and I remember I would sneak into my mom's bathroom and fill them up with water like little cups. LOL
I still have my Teddy. Though I dont use his ears for cups anymore, he still sits on my self and makes my heart smile
with memories of my childhood.
