Aerosmith, REO Speedwagon, Depeche Mode, Guns n Roses, Madonna. blah blah blah blah. Most the crap today was copied from the eighties and twisted up.
As far as album sales I think it was Guns n Roses and Madonna...

The two best shows I saw in the '80's - A very young Bon Jovi in 1985(had front row tickets) and Van Halen's OU812 tour in 1988 - New Orleans was one of the best I ever saw.

oh man. that is so tough. I am a child of the 80's and i love the music from then. I say for me its Duran Duran. they came here last year and i got to see them live. a dream come true.
