Follow through with this; I will give you the reason why.
Take two players on the same team, P1 & P2.
1st inning P1 comes to bat, 2 outs runners on 2nd & 3rd, P1 hits a base hit, 2 runs score. P2 comes to bat pop fly he’s out, inning over score 2-0.
A few innings later, say the 3rd, man on 3rd, P1 hits a sacrifice bunt, runner scores P1 is out. P2 comes to bat he hits a homer. Eventually the inning ends no more runs. Score now 4-0.
6th Inning P1 strikes out. P2 hits another homer. Now score 5-0.
9th inning, bases loaded, P1 gets his last at bat and pops out. P2 gets his last at bat and hits another homer a grand slam, score 9-0.
Now the important part, the box scores.
P1 1 for 3, 3 RBI’s
P2 3 for 4, 6 RBI’s 3 Home Runs and a grand slam to boot.
If you didn’t see how the game was actually played out and how it unfolded, you would say wow P2 did great, 3 homers, a grand slam, 6 RBI’s, but in reality it was P1 that won the game for you, even though he only went 1 for 3. P2, although impressive, really didn’t do anything at all for that win, the outcome was the same with him or without him.
Well P2 is A Rod yes on paper his numbers are incredible, but the reality is he doesn’t help anybody. I’m tired of hearing without A Rod the Yanks wouldn’t make the playoff, the fact of the matter is, without A Rod, as horrible as the Yanks pitching is, the Yanks would have won the division. A Rod has helped lose many more games than he ever helped the Mariners, Rangers or the Yanks win. As impressive as he is on paper, the fact of the matter he stinks. And that is why the older Yanks fans, like myself that look how a player performs as apposed to how he performs on paper, booed him for 4 years. Even with the year he had, 54 homers 130+ RBI’s not one did anything to change the outcome of any of the 162 games the Yanks played this past season.
I would much rather have a team of P1’s that get no attention at all, that actually helps you win, than 1 P2 on my team, that makes headlines galore, RBI’s out the wazoo, this that and the other thing, when none of it mattered. P2 is all fluff and no substance just like A Rod.
Any team that gets him will lose, and his teamates will resent that he makes 30% to 50% of the entire teams payroll. Even with the Yankees, and their payroll dwarfs all others, he made 15% of the entire payroll. Now he wants to make even more $, with a team that has 1/2 the payroll the Yanks have, it's just a bad situation for any team that gets him.

Because it is a team again not 24 teammates and a-rod. He liked to be singled out alot just look at his contract he had. He had to be the highest paid player by 1 million dollars, o if some one were to make the same he would have automatically got a 1 million dollar raise. To me it seems like he is the most arrogant, selfish teammate there is.

I like your observation. The reason is because he is not a good contributer to the club house behavior. He's a little to serious and he needs to loosen up at times. He produces a lot of stress for every team he's on.
Also, other players feel as if they need to look up to him, because they think he's a lot better than everyone else. This also produces a lot of stress.

Two words for you "Salary Cap". When he left Seattle it cleared room under the cap, when he left Texas it cleared up room under the cap, New York doesn't have that problem, but it gives them some wiggle room.

Hahaha. You know what would be funny? A-Rod signs with..lets say..the Red Sox, and they go 10 - 152 and the Yankees go 152 - 10!
