You probably can't because he secretly fears you'll adopt some of their behaviors as a result of your association with them, so he lashes out at them. (His choice of insults likely reflects the extent to which he considers them a threat, and his attitude towards women in general from youth until now). In this case you're your own worse enemy in that you're producing the behavior you're trying to stop. Personally he couldn't care less what they do or with whom...it's only an issue to him as it relates to its possible influence on you. Cut WAY back on giving him gory details of their exploits, and his conversation should mellow out over time. I know he's your husband and you should be able to tell him anything...this is still true, but you have to also be cognizant of the effect what he hears will have on him. Modify it a bit and see if that doesn't help some.

Maybe he does not mean it seriously. Who is more important to you, your friends or your husband? Play along. My wife calls my female friends whores and my mail friends variously rogues, girly boys and worse things. I play along. I call her friends "horrible things too. It's lots of fun . No one knows except wifey and me---and now you. Shhhh. Don't tell anyone . OK?

I wouldn't want to be hanging out with "friends" who cheat....I am guessing that some of things that you tell your husband concerning your friends is that some of them are cheating on their significant others....guess you can ask your husband to refrain from calling them names.....or just quit talking to your husband about your friends....

Well, dear cheating I mean, just for sex is bad I suppose, but if you like the other person genuinely and have a one off fling is okies, meanwhile your friends freaking out will definitely influence you to have a fling. I believe your hubby's concern is genuine, and he not that mingling type otherwise he would have joined your friend's circle. LOL

Don't tell him what your friends talk to you about. Just like a marriage is between two people you & him keep your friends stories to tyour self.

are you the one who said all your friends had started cheating on their husbands? if so then yeah he has a point why you want to assosiate with people that do that? the more you hang out the more likely you are to become them.

Tell him to learn what respect means. He might be jealous and degrades them to make himself feel better. Even if she is a "whore", she is your friend, and he needs to respect you. Tell him it hurts you when he says that.

I would tell him that he is being rude and ask him not to make those comments to you about your friends. If he doesn't stop, don't tell him anything else your friends are doing because he's going to keep insulting them.

LOL...mine does the same thing, unfortunately you are going to have to stop telling him things.....I used to tell my boyfriend everything, and everyday he was constantly saying something ignorant about them. It's also a jealousy thing....anyone that is taking his time away from you is going to get called names.....LOL....I wouldn't worry about it too much.....

Well, if what he's saying is true then you should either quit telling him things like that or accept the fact that he may be right.
