I accept them because I have no choice...but try and try again.

Finally, at the age of 47 I find failures fewer and further in between. I've grown into myself and am pretty much in tune with what needs to be done and how to go about it. I still do fail but I just pick myself back up, dust myself off, learn a lesson and correct the mistake. Pride isn't a factor anymore. It's more like survival of the fittest ha, ha, ha!!!

Depends on how important and urgent it is mate. I am happy to fail where the issue is unimportant and not urgent - as I can learn to do better next time.

But I am a bit short with myself where it 's important and urgent and also where my mistake is a stupid one.

But having lived where and as I have for the time I have I have had to accept that failure is part of life soI can move on.

Small or personal failures I take pretty well and learn from them....but on the failures that affect others in a negative way or cause death or harm I take them very badly and tend to revert back to my bottle of vodka to get me through until I can cope on my own....and working in health care, some of my failures can indeed cause others anguish.

A great deal better after having washed the poison of guilt from my mind.

Once I began to understand that life experiences are learning opportunities and that the best way to learn & understand is to make some mistakes, I began to treat both myself & others in a more fair and balanced way. (as opposed to the previously harsh and unforgiving manner to which I was accustomed)

I hope this is helpful. Peace to you !

;-)

I have been struggling to accept one of my recent "failures"....I must admit....but I usually find it harder to find my "successes" than accept my "failures".
