Everyone I talk to says that Toyotas last longer and are more durable than any other vehicle make on the market. Is this true? If not, why doesn't the value of Toyotas ever seem to deprecate?

Heck, even the guy at the Grease Monkey said that he's never seem a Toyota "kick the bucket" with less than 400,000 miles on the original engine and transmission. Is any of this true folks or do Toyotas simply hold their value longer and carry a larger price tag because the parts are imported?

Nope, although they make some very fine vehicles. But last time I checked, Consumer Reports(.com) said that the Honda Civic was THE best car to own.

Well mate I have a 1983 Toyota Corona, and let me tell you, you can NOT kill those things.

Toyotas are extremly reliable, good performance and parts are easy to find and cheap.

I highly recommend a Toyota.
