it is a conspiracy, as long as they can keep you concentrating on the fact that they are playing the same songs over, and over again, they hope you won't realize that they have raised their prices, for the holiday.
and if they get you crazy enough, you won't realize that you have spent more than you intended.

Years ago, I used to have to go to the malls to hear the
Christmas music and see the holiday decor, just to get more
into the spirit. I usually was intent on shopping or maybe
ducking in for one item and didn't pay attention to any music
being repeated. Now I don't go to the malls because of the
crowds, and the higher costs there. I look for bargain outlets
to stretch my dollar if and when I can. I can't afford the high
price tags anymore. Being more frugal now, I will even make
or bake food items or candy to give. We only have our
daughter and family and a few friends to buy for. So thank
goodness the thought of giving a token of love is the thought
to be kept in mind.
Oh, what I am tired of already, are the stores advertising
for Christmas, just the day after Halloween. Sears was the
first commercial we saw. And the ad for the Christmas movie
for this year with Vince Vaughn. I can't believe they are al-
ready plugging Christmas. So ho ho ho, let the buying season
begin LOL.!

I can't stand it, I mean I really can't stand the music the crowds the standing in one place too long...So now since my kids are married and I only have to think of them and a few others I try to listen to what they say through the last half of the year and then I will make, paint it, or buy it on sale, on line! Overstock.com is great for that. I also buy new DVD's and CD's and books on CD from amazon.com where they say used- is is sold by someone else but often new or just like new. I don't do it all at once either, I do a little all year long and just put it away, and keep a note of what I have and what I need to get.

I’ve been to each and each mall in So. Cal. and that they are all notably lots the comparable. the only distinction is those in larger type factors (Beverly Hills) have extra suitable shops, with high quality merchandise. surely they are full of little ones, bored old human beings, and shopaholic ladies like me. It’s intense-high quality while there are no significant sales going on. i attempt to evade the mall for the time of the sales and holidays via fact then it’s full of much less costly, impolite, and annoying human beings attempting to get a great deal on previous season products. certainly, the purchasing shops are turning out to be to be kinda old and its extra suitable to save and local boutiques. You’ll discover extra unique products, and you won’t run into ladies at events donning the comparable outfit at you.

Hate it, hate it. My mother died ten years ago on Nov. 8th. Both my sister and I went out the next day to find clothes for the funeral, and all we heard was Christmas music. Made it that much more difficult and it still bothers us. I won't go to a mall till after Thanksgiving, just because of the association.
But you know what I hate as much? That the day after Christmas you won't hear the music at all anymore. We were brought up to believe that Christmas is a season, and that it doesn't end December 26th!

Yes, that is a big turn off to keep hearing the same track of three songs while I am shopping. With all the hustle and bustle of Christmas, I would prefer a silent background.

My allergies make it nearly impossible to spend much time in the mall. I generally go to the stores where I want to purchase something and just get what I came for and go. I love Christmas music, but wish they'd wait until Thanksgiving is over to start playing it, so we wouldn't get tired of it.

Last week I went into a local store and they had nothing but Christmas carols playing. It was just after Halloween. That is so ridiculous. I was so angry, although I needed to shop, I fled the store! I was not a Christmas mood and they weren't going to force me into one!

When I was a young woman I felt excited and looked forward to Christmas when I heard the music . Since I've gotten older I dread it. The cooking and cleaning and complaining just doesn't do it for me anymore. I think I'm the C word (cynical)

Yes it drives my crazy too! Especially when it starts at the end of October!!!!! That is why I shop on line! No parking problems, no pick pockets, no heavy bags to carry and no noise pollution - musical or otherwise!

Yes it drives me mad too and I dont get why it has to start at Halloween. Couldnt it wait until after Thanksgiving and play a bigger variety.
