Pressure systems are responsible for most weather conditions on the earth.Variation of pressure only causes air to flow horizontally from high pressure areas to low pressure areas and then forces them rise vertically over the low pressure areas as convection current .This raising air cools, condenses and form clouds which produces rain ,thunder storms, tornados, hurricanes etc.
Thus atmospheric pressure variations are the causes for many weather conditions.
