I have very mixed feelings about this one.

Apart of me says yes, there are so many missing children out there. to be able to find them...

But in the end, I would have to say no.

The technology is scary. What should be used for good, will undoubtedly be used for evil. The people of power will use this to "control" it's citizens. And criminals that can manipulate the technology will use it to find children.

It's a bad idea - one step closer in losing our freedom

No. If I was worried about safety to the degree of considering a tracking chip, I'd give them a cellphone. It would be a 1001 MORE uses more than a tracking chip. AND keep in mind, that I am not likely to agree to a cell phone right away.

Someone has got the wrong idea with a tracking chip. Sounds expensive for very, very limited functions. It is imposing on rights, it will lead to misuse - both softening our idea of the rights and criminals potentially figuring out how to use it better than we do. Not to mention that if they become commonplace then criminals would figure out how to break them. It wouldn't be hard.

I don't think that I would just for the safety reasons of it. I would imagine having a foreign "body" inside of your child couldn't be healthy. It would be nice to track your child wherever they are but I just don't think it would be safe. Of course, if my child were to be abducted and taken from me and I had NO IDEA where my child is at, I bet I would change my mind. Great question... something to ponder on! lol... :o)

Yes, I definitely would, if they can do it for dogs why not children. There was a special on TV a few years ago and a young couple experimented with it. The chip was implanted somewhere in the arm, and they were able to track each-other.

Absolutely not. I wouldn't want one placed inside me, and I'm certain my progeny would feel the same.
