Also, anything by Donovan Frankenreiter or Xavier Rudd.

Beach boy songs. They're pretty upbeat and fun. I recommend the "Sounds of summer" album. I'm not a real big expert on guitar, but I think you could play them on an acoustic guitar; they have a bunch of stuff in the background, but the medleys are pretty simple/
