The man was in his own home so why pull his show off the air for something we have all done at one time or another weather it be while in road rage or a store or a business we all at some point in time have shouted racist comments out come on?

If you choose to put your life on reality tv, you will be under a microscope like any other celebrity out there. You signed a contract and it's your own fault for being careless. If you want your life to be a secret, don't put it out there for the world to see.

I wouldn't worry. A&E isn't going to take a major hit loosing it's highest rated show. The last I heard, they were going to make Dog and his crew take cultural sensitivity classes on the show. So most likely, it's not going to get canceled, their just going to show the public he's learned his lesson, so to speak.
I think it's all BS in the first place. No one can control your thoughts, and his son is a looser for selling out his own father. Who hasn't heard their parents say something racist before, even in a joke.
I think it's about time people stop freaking out about what people say or think in priviate. These days people take offense to the wind blowing the wrong way. It's ridiculous.

The media cares.....but everyone else I talk to could really give a sh!t.... The media is trying to either make us more moral by giving a crap or the media makes money off of these rediculous stories....it's such bull. And no, I never say the N word...I'm not a racist. But I don't really care if anyone else is either. To me it's ignorant to be racist since stupidity comes in every color.

His son is a low life. He knew when he told his father (Duane) in 2003 he would go off the handle, he recorded it! If I was his father I wouldn't have been so forgiving. Talk about slinking on your belly and scr*wing a family member ! I rarely watch the show, that is no reason for them to cancel it.

A transcript of the complete rant is as follows:

“I don't care if she's a Mexican, a whore or whatever. It's not because she's black, it's because we use the word ni**er sometimes here. I'm not gonna take a chance ever in life of losing everything I've worked for for 30 years because some f*cking ni**er heard us say ni**er and turned us in to the Enquirer magazine. Our career is over! I'm not taking that chance at all! Never in life! Never! Never!

“If Lyssa [Chapman’s daughter] was dating a ni**er, we would all say 'f*ck you!' And you know that. If Lyssa brought a black guy home ya da da ... it's not that they're black, it's none of that. It's that we use the word ni**er. We don't mean ‘you f*cking scum ni**er without a soul’. We don't mean that sh*t. But America would think we mean that.

“And we're not taking a chance on losing everything we got over a racial slur because our son goes with a girl like that. I can't do that Tucker. You can't expect Gary, Bonnie, Cecily, all them young kids to [garbled] because 'I'm in love for 7 months' – f*ck that!

“So, I'll help you get another job, but you can not work here unless you break up with her and she's out of your life. I can't handle that sh*t. I got 'em in the parking lot trying to record us. I got that girl saying she's gonna wear a recorder ..."

I want his show to stay on the air. The phone conversation he had with his son was suppose to be private. At the time Dog was upset and said things out of anger. We all have been there. The whole thing was blown out of proportion.

People say the "N" word all the time, and most of the time it will be behind closed doors. I do not agree with racism or racist remarks, but I don't have to be around those people and I don't stand in judgment, but what ppl do in their own homes in their private time, that is their business.

I dont think he should have the benefit of having a multi-million dollar show for those comments made, they try to pull down rappers all the time for using the word "*****" not "******", he deserves to be bankrupt. The venom in his voice showed the mark of a true racist. I used 2 like him, even recorded his show. Never watch it again thats for sure.

I think that he should be put off of the air.

I have been called a n*gger b*tch by someone, but his punk *ss was driving away in his car while shouting it out of the window lol. Anyway, I'm just saying that this type of behavior is unacceptable. He knows this, that is why he uttered that BS only while in his home or wherever people who could be offended could not hear.
