The position levers do not seem to work either they seem to have become unconnected ,what can I do to repair them

I'm not sure if Suzuki's use cable or vacuum to control air doors. If they all stopped working at once, they are probably vacuum, and either way you need to open the panel to check. The vacuum hose going to the control will be small, and if it is broken should make a hiss at the break. Be careful pulling on dash panels, and always disconnect your battery before working on your dash.

You would need to remove the heater controls to inspect the cables that are attached to the backside of it...probably the cables have broken off their respective mounts or where they attach to the control levers. You would have to buy new cables or a heater control at a dealer or salvage yard possibly. May be best to get a service manual to do it yourself or take it to a shop.
