He hardly is around. When Cena was champ he was the first one to come out. Randy hardly ever comes out unless he's in a match. He lost last night to DX, and he just isn't a good champion...I think. So what do you think ?

Well, I really thought about this and changed my tune a bit. Stay with me here....

First, I think many people are used to seeing the great superman-like John Cena carry the belt and win again and again and again for so d**n long that they are a bit blind when it comes to a new champion and especially, a bad guy as champion.

If WWE is building up Orton to be a long-reigning champion, then they are doing the right thing thus far. If he loses it within the next 3 weeks, then they failed. But, hear me out...

Previous to No Mercy, Randy was built up as a vicious, cold, icy monster who would do anything to get the championship. He kicked Cena's daddy in the head, he RKO'd Cena on the table- even doing the same to HHH at No Mercy. Now, he is the champ. And WWE is doing what they naturally do with a heel champion.

He is not going to be walking around dominating. Just won't happen. Heel champions almost always get their butt kicked by the faces (especially when the faces are HHH and HBK). They usually cheat to win, dq themselves in title matches to save the belt (look at Edge as a perfect example of that). Heels do what they need to keep the belt, and usually run away from a challenge- what that does it give them more heat from the audience. Makes the audience boo harder, and makes them hated. A good heel champion is one that gets crazy boos when they come out- just what Randy is getting.

So, while to some, it may look like WWE is making Orton out to look they a weak champion- they are building him up to be the heel that no one can catch. If he keeps the belt say, though Wrestlemania of next year (I know, long shot), than they have accomplished the goal. They might have him run from the good guys, but if they keep the belt on him- it proves that no one can get it.

Plus, I am sure we are going to see a RAW or two where Orton gets some serious damage done on a good guy. It will happen.

Now, if he loses the belt at Survivor Series (which I doubt), than I will admit that the whole reign would have been a failure because it went so quick and Randy didn't get the upperhand at all in the feud with Michaels. But, that remains to be seen.

So, all in all, I am decently optimistic about what WWE has in store, and I think they are handling this reign as expected.

Above all else, our boy is the champ. No one can take that away from us. Whether or not he looks weak is not the issue, he has the belt- and the more weeks that pass that we see him come out with the belt around his shoulder- the better.

Well...that's just my two cents on the issue.

Nah i might extremely see side or HBK as champ, atleast till finally Triple H gets decrease back. Randy Orton has alot of transforming into as much as do. He could have in no way been a worldwide champion first of all. If it wasnt to eliminate the reality that Brock Lesner replaced into the youngest worldwide champ of all time he in no way might have beat Beniot for his 1st worldwide identify run( which didnt final long ).

He's still better than Cena, but admittedly, he is lacking as a champ.

I agree. If he's champ the least he could do is speak to his fans when the show begins.

Well as I recall, Cena is more predictable, so now we don't know if our champion will come out or not now, which makes him better.

Well, he's a HEEL. His job is not to please you Cena Fans as a Heel he wants you to hate him. This proves my point that Cena fans know nothing about wrestling. All they do drool over Cena with a championship belt around his waist.
