I just cannot trust anyone anymore. I have problems trusting my siblings and now my boyfriend. He was here in the U.K for 3 months and now he is gone to the other side of the world (2 months go). He will be back next week and I'm terrified. He is threatening to leave me if I keep accusing him of what he has not done. I don't want to lose him because of my past relationships, where men and friends broke my trust. I want to love him and stop hurting him and myself.

Hi friend,
I know trusting another person again is very difficult for you because of your past experiences. But you have to remember every individual is different. There are some persons who don't deserve to be trusted, but there are also as many trustworthy persons out there. What you're doing is generalizing them all, thus you are also brushing aside the real trustworthy ones. What makes Kobe Bryant a great player?? Because even when he misses 10 shots in a row, he always believe the next shot will fall. Just imagine he simply stopped firing after the 10th missed shot. Plenty of people are like that. They were hurt by a past relationship & decided to simply clam up. The reason? So that they won't be hurt again. But aren't you hurting more right now? So few friends & a boyfriend who is on the brink of slipping away because of your being paranoid??? Rebounding back is always hard..But you have to..Begin to believing that not all people are bad..Believe that for every crook, there is someone out there you can trust as well. Believe me, my friend, avoiding pain by closing your heart is the most painful feeling of them all.

You have real trust issues don't you? You are making yourself ill with them and working yourself into an anxious depression where you are convinced everything that can go wrong WILL go wrong.
That really, really doesn't always happen - unless YOU let it.

You really are in control of all this. The first step to helping yourself is to get some help. Talk to your doctor - he may not prescribe anything - but just being able to tell someone that has a view to just looking out for you can really help.

Go tomorrow - don't wait.

DO NOT TRUST ANYBODY AT ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!
TRUST YOURSELF ONLY AT ALL TIMES!!!!!!!

also keeping off alcohol and drugs will help ,

beware of liars and cheats too , theres 2 kinds of people , good and bad , and your not sophisticated enough to seperate the 2.

paranoia is your best friend , it keeps you safe , and if your friends are real friends, they will understand your condition and they will stand by you through everything because they love and respect you , only dirty liars and cheats ( bad people ) will make fun or reject you
