Reasons I hate it:
(1) Instead of gradually transitioning into earlier sunsets, boom! one day the sunset starts setting before I leave work.
(2) It screws up my biological clock and I always have trouble sleeping the night after the clocks change.
(3) No one knows what the point of Daylight Saving Time is, they just mindlessly do it. Allegedly it saves energy but I think this is a crock -- true people don't turn on their lights as early in the evening when DST is in effect but they turn them on and leave them on earlier in the day.
(4) If you're a pedestrian, you're more likely to get hit by a car right after DST ends because drivers aren't used to the early dusk.

I probably hate it more than anyone...I won"t go out after dark (I was a victim of a very violent crime...live in Oakland) So, I have to be sure to get home by 4:45pm cause it's dark @ 5:07...It is a crock..Arizona NEVER changes their time Just ca,or &wa. iT DOES NOT save energy, I have to use more lights etc. This year they extended the change for one whole week...how great! They usually change it the week b-4 halloween;not after. They said the did that to save energy....B.S.!!!!!!

I hate it as much as everyone else, thers no logical reason to continue,Scotland may have an arguement, but by the tine british tradishion moves on Scotland will have got there independence, and sunk out of sight. so why bother.

I agree with you I wish we would stay on one time year around, But I would choose daylight saving time not standard year around. I hate it when it gets dark early.

i like it through fact i wait for the bright heat days of spring and summer season and good riddance to the dark chilly days of iciness. To me, dropping an hour of sleep is not any huge deal.

I used to like it in the fall, and loathe it in the spring. But, I just got over the whole concept.

Yes, I hate it. I especially hate it being extended to cover Halloween. What fun is halloween when it's still light out?

everyone hates "Spring Ahead," but how can anyone hate "Fall Back," gimmie your extra hour of sleep then, lol!
PS - there is a state in the US that doesn't recognize DLST - is it Arizona?

I THINK ITS STUPID TOO...MOST PEOPLE DONT FARM AND WE HAVE SOMETHING CALLED ELECTRICITY NOW..AND FOR THE THING ABOUT KIDS...U RATHER UR KID HAVE TO WALK HOME IN THE DARK THEN START SCHOOL IN THE DARK? THAT DOESNT MAKE ALOT OF SENSE SINCE MOST PREDATORS PICK UP KIDS ON THEIR WAY HOME!!!
