I decided i want to go on the pill for different reasons not just for birth control but i cant decide on which one I have the occational breakout and my flow isn't regular which is why i was considering SEASONIQUE, YAZ or DIANE 35 but im not sure oh which one to settle. I really dont want to gain weight. I know a doctor can help me make a better choice but i want to know how these different contraceptives have worked for you girls. What i want to know is...

1. What is their price?
2. Did it regulate your cycle?
3. Did it clear up your acne?
4. Did you gain weight while you were on it.
5. Does it have any side effects?
6. Anything else i should know that i may have failed to mention?

I DO NOT recommend depo provera.

I DO recommend Kariva (pill). On it for almost two years no problems.

Every woman is different though.

I've heard seanique and yaz are terrible. My best friend was on yaz and had horrible side effects. I've never heard a good story about it. I'm not sure what Diane 35 is.

Everyone's body reacts differently to different medications, so one that works well for you, may not work well with others.

I'm on Ovcon 35, I've had terrible ovarian cysts and a fibroid on my uterus. My cramps were terrible and my period was sooo heavy. I've been on it for about a year now and I feel great. My mood is great and everything.

Price of birth control varies by your insurance and by which pill you choose. Mine costs $21.

It definitely regulated my period, made it MUCH lighter.
No weight gain at all.
I didnt have any acne in the first place.
And I've had no bad side effects.

But as I said, it's different for everyone.

Also just so you know, when you go to the pharmacy make sure you don't get a generic brand, they usually aren't good.

Hope this helped!!

nuvaring is the best to regualte your cycle because the release of hormones is constant and remains level. with oral birth control pills your hormone levels are all over the place which gives you a greater likelihood of irregular/breakthrough bleeding and other side effects. nuvaring runs about fifty dollars a month. anything you take that contains progesterone may make you gain weight, not because it effects your metabolism, but it makes you hungry.

www.YAZ-US.com.!! Go to the website it will tell you everything you need to know & it makes your face clear too. That's double good! You can save $10.00 on your first subscription & no weight gain. Do me a favor & once you decide, check with your gynocologist to see what he says or if he or she may know of something better. If it was me I'd take YAZZ, good luck & Take Care!!

You go on the one that the doctor gives you. You will not have a choice usually.
