I'm talking about Thomas Jefferson...

The founding fathers studied other governments, and found there was one fundamental flaw: the fact that as people evolved and life became more complicated, the laws created to govern the people no longer applied.

Imagine, a government is formed hundreds of years agao, then suddenly abortion pops up, but the legislature is unable to pass a law for or against it. What do you do? You have to replace the entire government, (which is what Frances does, by the way).

Thomas Jefferson wanted the consitution to be changed due to the voting of president.
The 12th amendment to the Constitution changed the manner in which the vice president was selected, so as to prevent arch enemies from occupying the first and second positions of the executive. Jefferson also found the State of the Union address to be too magisterial when delivered in person. He performed one and afterwards delivered them, as required by the constitution, only in writing.

Basically, he added an amendment because if you go against somebody, and you're opponent loses, do you think you two will be the best of friends?!
no. so they made it where a vice president and president are two different votes.
