Republicans prefer giving american tax dollars away overseas than to spend them on things that benefit americans. why? My guess is that its for the following reason.
Republicans also prefer policies that bring the USA into conflicts with other countries and bring about wars...even unnecessary cherry picked intel ones. They also prefer america being in everyone else's business and telling them what to do. They know that these policies bring about big fat contracts for their war profiteering military industrial complex buddies. They like spending money overseas to a) help rebuild countries that they destroy b) give weapons to others to destroy countries and give money to the destroyed country to rebuild (see israeli/lebanon war recently passed), c) they like to give away money to other countries thinking that these gifts will somehow cause people who hate us cause of the warmongering and interference policies will be bought off and come to love us because we buy their love. Since republicans hate spending money on americans to help americans , they figure every dollar they piss away overseas, is a dollar kept away from possibly being used here at home for good decent peaceful purposes like education, college education, roads, highways, social security, medicare, border security, Food and drug adminstration, etc.....

id personally like to know why people keep hashing this same subject over and over again. its up to the house of representatives to send funding for disaster relief to where its necessary, not the president.
the only way he could directly affect the money going into the area would be to inact martial law, and that even needs a house vote, so dont even think that would happen.
also, about the hurricane victims, im guessing you specifically mean new orleans. id like to know where all the money that was given to the state over the last 30 years to build up the current flood prevention protection in the city has gone.
the problem wasnt with george bush, it was with all the demogorrary and politization of the situation that made the money not getting there worse than it was.
every other state affected by hurricane katrina seems to be rebuilding fine, and they were very shortly after the rain had stopped. new orleans is a victim of the great society, and has nobody to blame but the people who have been in charge of the city for the last 30 years, the democrats.

Bush doesn't like or trust Americans, it's as simple as that. Just like he thinks National Health Care is a great idea in Iraq, but not here.

Because he doesn't think he needs anything from the people who live here. But by aiding foreign countries he figures he can gain something.

Bush does not care about foreign tsunami victims nor does he care about domestic hurricane victims. Do not be naive.

Yes.
How many more billions do you want to give them?

I've sent them money, too. Have you???

Democrats don't Give.
Democrats Take.

(Democrats are so uneducated that they believe (above) that LA didn't vote for Bush.)
The Democrat Politicians in LA were in New Orleans and they got rich sticking Katrina Money in their pockets.

I'm from Louisiana (and my family was affected by Katrina and Rita), but even I am not stupid enough to think Bush doesn't care.

When are people from Louisiana going to care enough about themselves to get off their asses and do some freakin work! Why are there so many houses that are still not even gutted? Huummm...because people here are LAZY! Get off your *** and quit waiting for a handout from the government. Take care of it yourself! And if you can't afford insurance, then don't live here!
