The film was billed as "inspired by true events"; Eli Roth claimed to have read about poverty stricken individuals in Thailand who would sell "members of their family to organized crime, then American and European businessmen would pay $10,000 to walk in a room and shoot them in the head. So I guess it's not to far fetched!

I think that it's possible. I saw the first Hostel and was actually sickened by it. I do realize that it was just a movie but I thought it was the most disgusting movie I have ever watched.

i know it was fictional Actors Actress etc and that's the only way it was not so bad cause it was a film though i suppose every one has a price you got the cash they got the time suppose it could be an extreme form of human trafficking after all there are some very warped individuals in this world
