When you see movies like Saw it is fantasy however the plot of hostel appears to be somethong not out of the bounds of possibility.

They do exist but like the movie shows they are underground organizations but i doubt the entire town would be in on it such as in hostel 1. There are alot of sick people out there who will pay good money to just get frustration out that way and some are just normal doctors that are trying to do a little research on what would happen in certain procedures they cant perform legally.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre was quite a true story wasnt it? So societies like that could exist. It would be crazy and hella scary, but anything can happen in the world we live in. The movies might go WAYYYY too far in dept with the gore and torture, but murders happen everyday and there are those few psycho freaks who will do that kind of stuff.

I would say it is very possible. With the way the world is going it seems very likely that if it hasn't happened already that it will. I have been to a lot of different places through out the world, and in some of the country's there were places that cops and the military didn't go. Places like that if you went there you would go in and not come back out.

Yes, I do think that somewhere something along the lines of the plot of Hostel does exists. To what extent, who knows.

Although I would like to believe they don't, I think it is a very strong possibility..You would be shocked if you only knew some of the things that go on in other countries. It's scary...

OMG! I frickin love those movies. and i have thought about that exact same question. many times. i actually do believe things like that do happen. i have seen it on the news b4. with people, dogs, cats, and lots of other stuff too. i think it is HORRIBLE tho.

People do that in the far west of Europe. It is a proven fact that they do that. Not like saw but like hostel.

It may occur in such communities where people struggle to get some cash. But it is very unusual to spend such enormous amounts to torture/ kill people.
