OMG! I did not realize that there are so many responsible thinking teens. Most teens don't get enough credit for having a brain. Thumbs up to you teens who understand that SEX is a responsible action. There are comsequences that come with that action! STD's and babies of course etc... Adults as well can get these same things true, but how many teens or stable with a job living on ther own and prepared to care for a child for the next 18 to 21 years. Condoms break or things can happen to cause a pregnancy while having SEX are teen really prepared to deal with these things. I don't understand how some parents encourage this "SEX IN THE HOME" ! How many teens are willing to give up their childhood to have a child? Youngs ladies, HA HA HA! If you think most teen boys wills be there for you after having a child! They are excited about their body parts and are becoming explores! Nothing personally young ladies, but you are just next on their list. Thanks teens for being smart!

When you say teen, that means any age from 13 to 19. With the younger age, probably not because it is illegal in my country. However, my children knew about STDs and contraception and were ready when they were ready. After the age of 16 it would not be my business. All I would hope is that they weren't being promiscuous or hurting others. I would far rather they knew sex wasn't some dreadful taboo never to be discussed and only enjoyed illicitly.

Well I have two children, one is 13 years old and the other is 11- 1/2 years old. I wouldn't ever allow my kids to have sex under our roof, only because that would be condoning sex, saying it's fine to possibly get some kind of disease, CONDOM OR NOT, or the chances of becoming pregnant. I mean I understand, if they can't have sex in our home they will just try to find some place else to do it, but why make it easier on them to be sexually promiscuous?

No, it's illegal and immoral. The last thing I want to hear is my child having sex! That just opens the door to pregnancy and STD's! Also what if the parents of the other child get mad? They could press charges. That's so wrong. I'd be pissed if someone let my child have sex in their home, I'd call the police and press charges. No way!

No, I think it's a bad idea. So many kids experiment with sex that a parent could justify it by believing "they're going to do it anyway, so why not under my roof?" but I still think it sends the wrong message. Sex is for adults, period, and I think that because teenagers inherently believe that they are invincible, they should fear external consequences (like being grounded or the like) if not natural consequences like STDs and pregnancy.

Absolutely not. I want him to make smart choices about sex and have it only when he is ready for all the responsibilities it involves, preferably after marriage although that's a long shot these days. If he's still living at home and can't even afford to get a room (or isn't smart enough to know not to let me know he's doing it at home) then he's not ready in my opinion. I certainly wouldn't make it easier for him by providing a place for his rendezvous!

No I would never allow my son to have sex at my house. He's 2 so I don't need to worry about this for a long time. Hopefully I can raise him to not have sex until marriage.

Not even if hell froze over. My house, my rules. They can obey my rules and have the blessings of living here and eating here and sharing the love and family time here, or they can find somewhere else to go. I would NEVER allow them to.
why - because of my morals. I waited until my wedding night to lose my virginity-as did my husband. I hope to raise my kids with the same good morals to help save them the heart ache later.

God no! I am a teen myself (well, 18) and never would I allow my house to be turned into a Playboy mansion. I do not support teen sex, because it only causes trouble.

teenagers will do anything.
if they have to do it in public they will, wouldnt you rather them do it in private..
unless they were having sex with heaps of different people, but even so as a parent you would have some kind of idea

No, and if they asked me this I would keep a tighter leash on this. Weather they have protection or not I dont want to take the risk of them getting anything, espicially in my own home. That someone may not care if their children get diseased or pregnant, but I would.
