I just got over this guy that has broken my heart over and over again and I've never been so happy in my life!! I realized I was never really happy when I wanted him. How do you usually feel right after you get over someone?

I don't think you every do completely get over someone, I know that all the guys that I had it bad for still have a place in my heart. I guess when I do move on, I feel relieved but really sad and sort of empty, until I find someone else to like!!! lol

'it depends on how long you have been with someone, if you've only been together for a few years, well it still hurts any way, whether its a few months or years. but i don't know your situation, me i 'v been hurt in the past and men know how to play with your mind to. about how you are feeling now, well you can only be the judge of that. if your feeling very good then you should have gotten out years ago. you say he broke your heart over & over again, well dosent that alone give you the anwser your looking for?. your happyer more than you ever were with him. just dont take him back anymore.if i new what i know now, iv been taken as the bigest fool of all times.

I think every relationship is different. I know thats lame. With one boy I felt sad as I got over him. Like I was leaving something great behind.
Another used me a bit and I felt so strong getting over him.
While there was one that Im still struggling over, and I didnt even date him.
But in general, I think you feel stronger coming out on the 'other side' a better you

If you have gotten over someone, technically you feel indifferent towards that person. If you have not gotten over that person then you may feel depressed or have anxiety when around that person. It depends from person to person and what circumstances were involved during the breakup.

I feel rejuvenated and ready to meet new people, but at the same time sad because I let go of someone I once loved.
