went on saturday to a public display.
on Monday night there was a fantastic display from the local pub that I could see from my bedroom window, so just lay on the bed and let the fireworks go off! (don't get that everyday do you!)

Wen't to the local fireworks display, big bonfire, 3 pints of London Pride and a tasty burger. Lot's of Oohs and Aaahs and a crick in my neck. Smashing!

My husband was working last night, but there was a lot going on around us, so I put the lights out and opened the curtains and blinds and watched them in the sky and listened to the bangs. It wasn't brilliant but I liked it..
I am a big kid at heart and love fireworks.. *s*

I didn't. Too cold. But there were enough fireworks exploding in my street.

I didn't have to go out to see them. My neighbours were letting off rockets etc. in the back garden. My 2 dogs were terrified & spent the whole night shaking & barking. Today my neighbour complained about the barking!!! Damn cheek!

Our local one was on the 1st, for some stupid reason, but we still went. Better than normal, especially for Wear Valley Council (in County Durham)
