You can test 4 days before a missed period and get a positive result. If it is negative and you do not get your period, retest either the day you missed your period or the day after. If you are pregnant, HPT are 99% accurate when testing the day of a missed period.

I always say 14 days after your first day of your missed period. I know it is hard but try to wait because you can get a false negative result because the hormone isn't in your urine yet. Good Luck!
