what is the dvd + R DL. And can a DVD + - RW burn the same thing. I am tyring to burn something that is usually burnt on dvd= R DL but i was wondering if DVD +- RW is the same thing or can do the same thing

DL is "double layer", which means it has roughly 8.5 GB of capacity instead of normal DVD+R's 4.3 GB capacity.

*Most* DVD+/-RW nowadays are also dual-layer media compatible. However, you should check your drive with a drive ID utility or a program such as ImgBurn to be sure.
