The best way to gain respect from other people is to be comfortable with who you are! If you're happy with yourself and confident with who you are, your interests, and your talents, people will like you! A lot of people may have money and women, and whatever else, but aren't comfortable with themselves. Once you master that people will flock to you and respect you.

Respect comes when you first give respect. You get what you sew. You don't get respect because you have money and women. People respect the money, and the women. Not you as a person. Anybody can have these things. You gain respect because you are good, caring, willing to help, and show respect towards others.

First off I don't understand the connection...A total jerk can have millions of dollars in his pocket...He can even have 24 girlfriends, so now he's a millionaire with girls but he's still a jerk...How do those two things make me respect him?...
I think if a guy wants respect, he needs to be honest to himself and to others, in front of and behind their backs. He needs to be honorable and do what is right in everything he says and does. He needs to give others respect for who they are and not what they have...Possessions come and go.
Be a man of character, know what is really important. I would rather be around a poor man with good character than a rich man with no morals...

You have to love yourself before you can gain from others.
the world is end less with thing that a person a get respect from others.here are some example
helping others in need, the clothes you wear, vehicle that you drive and many more.
