I need to find a birth control that is reliable and cheap. Any suggestions?

Abstinence - this is the most reliable and cheapest form of contraception. Additional protection against STD's for no extra cost. Most other methods will not protect against STD's.

Rhythm method - just as cheap as abstinence, but notoriously unreliable. There is a common joke that goes around the O&G circles about what they call people who use the Rhythm method: "parents"

Condoms - particularly good when combined with spermicide - additional protection against STD, almost as good as abstinence

Oral Contraceptive Pill

Mirena - intrauterine system
