well you distribute the 10 and the 5q so that
25q+50q=525
so
75q=525
then divide by 75....
q=7

125q(squared)+50q=525
subtract 50q from each side
125q(squared=525-50q
divide by q
125q=525-50
simplify
125q=475
divide
q=3.8

easy, look at what you have closely....

25q+10(5q)=525

10 & 5q are being multiplied right? so 10 * 5q=50q.......
25q+50q=525

then add 25q+50q=75q........

75q=525

then divide 525 by 75 = 7

so q=7

First you must distribute the 10.
25q+50q=525
Add like terms.
75q=525
q=525/75... use a calculator to figure that out cause I'm too lazy!
