I <3 the name Caitlin but its too popular. I wouldnt name my children that because I want them to be different but its still a cute girly girl name!!! :]

It's not a bad name but there are TOO MANY OF THEM. And virtually nobody can spell it right (Caitlin is the correct spelling). I've seen Kaitlyn, Katelynne, Kaitlan, Caytlin, and other abominations, over the years.

I don't. My name is Katherine, but I go by Kayt. Everyone assumes my given name is Kaytlin, and people call me it constantly. I don't like it because it's a hyperpopular, constantly misspelled name that's mispronounced. It comes from the Gaelic name Caitlin, which is pronounced more like koyt-hleen than kate-lynn.

I love the name but Its a pretty common name...Try a uncommonly found name.....p.s. i like Kaitlyn better than Caitlin.....

i like it but it's too popular like if i had a child i wouldn't name her caitlin b/c it's not really as interesting as i like them but overall it's a nice name.

i like it, but it's pretty popular now...there are lots of Caitlin's in my area...spelled with different spellings, but said the same.
