X2 4200 easily beats the old tech/high ghz Pentiums (dual cores) in these gaming benchmarks:

But if you have spare budget, consider the new X2 5000+ Black Edition. It has unlocked multipliers and can easily perform like an X2 6000+ but at LOWER wattage.

id personnaly go for the dual-core. But i think Intel duo-core proccesors are better than Amd.

63x2 4600mb perfact seed down loading and formenting porgrams on hard dive ..................
