theyve all embarassed their schools and their alumni's.

word in college station is that theyre already negotiating a buyout on coach fran

weiss won a few games early with players he didnt recruit. now that his kids are playing, not even the media bias for the irish can save him

callahan is a joke who couldnt control an nfl team but the powers that were in lincoln thought a bunch of 20 yr olds would listen to him

Callahan is gone. They brought in Osborne as AD for a reason. Fran is probably gone as well, but at least they aren't horrific this year(at least what I seen of them)
Weiss has too much time on his contract, and they knew this wouldn't be a good year. Probably didn't think it would be as bad as it is though.

The wishbone was a college offense and to my knowledge, was never used in the NFL. Emory Bellard, an Offensive Coordinator for the Longhorns, is credited with introducing the scheme while at Texas in 1967. Bear Bryant, Barry Switzer, and numerous other coaches adopted the offense to great success in the 70's and 80's. By the early 90's, it had petered out and nowadays, you rarely see it used anymore on a collegiate level. I'm sure a lot high schools still do, though.

You won't find a shortage of people here in Nebraska that would volunteer to drive the moving van for Bill Callahan.

Callahan is a goner. Franchione is out too, but the situation is not nearly as embarassing as Cally. 76 points to Kansas? Whew...

Callahan will be gone. Weiss will stay for at least 3 more years, probably more. Nobody cares about A&M.

franchione is already being bought out...so he's gone. callahan will probably be there till the end of their season and then he'll be history.

Bill Callahan definately wins that one. That program was outstanding with Tom Osborne...unfortunately good old Bill has let more than a few things slip.
