So.. the plan would be a cruise ship stocked with tons of drugs IN INTERNATIONAL WATERS.. where people would come out to take vacations. It would be called the Drug Boat and we would ferry passengers and supplies from all over to the Drug Boat for vacations. We could also make all the illegal stuff like gamling and protitution avalible on this boat as well.

Of course the boat wouuld only ever come into harbor when it needed repairs since it would have to dump all the drugs and stop the illicit activity when it came into port to abide by the law... but at that point there would be nothing to arrest anyone for.

I know this is silly but tell me why this wouldn't work?

you would have to abide by the laws of the country your ship is registered in; and as long as you remain in the international waters you might get away with it for a little bit. Rest asure they will come up with a law to outlaw it someway, plus if you are a citizen of the U.S. you would have to pay tax on the income (the drug stamp tax law), unless you lived out of the country or in international waters for more than 6 months ayear.....good thinking though..might be short lived
p.s. you would have to have ships come into shore to pick up people and take them to your boat, you woudl not want to bring your boats into the U.S. waters to pick up passengers, otherwise they could search your vessel, and also now that i think about it, do not let people take drugs back off the ship with them, otherwise the coast gaurd could board you because you are traffifcing into the U.S. there are a lot of things they coudl interpret cut me in and i will help you out..lol

It really is not too likely because a cruise ship is by far, more stable then a boat. Often you can not even feel the movement of the cruise ship. Only when you are sitting quiet in rough seas will you even be able to feel the ship. I have been on 9 cruises and only one of those did I see anybody getting sea sick. If you are prone to sea sickness, then go to a doctor before you cruise and get a patch or just take the over the counter stuff with you.

I find your business venture not good, Drugs can kill and if you get someone killed because of an overdose what would you do then, If it were your mother or father or kids going there and later found there selling everything you own to get the drugs would you thing its a good idea then, I hope you don't ever get this off the ground and if you do, some drug cartel will likely kill you and take over. For get it, its a very bad idea. If your looking for real excitement get saved and let God fill your life. There is no happiness in drugs it is only a way to a disorderly life.

You would still be subject ot international law, as well as the laws of the nation to which you are a citizen. Your suppliers would be illegal, and shipments to your boat would be subject to interception and confiscation. Any prostitution activities would fall under human trafficing laws. And worst of all, more than worrying about law enforcement, you'd be more at risk from modern day pirates. All those drugs, money, and wealthy vacationers available for ransom - you better have one hell of a security force!

The minute you came in to dock the boat for repairs, you would be arrested at Gun point (Trafficking, with intention to sell), stepping on the back of your neck, all that GOOD stuff. The U.S. Coast Guard would be all over you, like "UGLY" on an Ape.

So,this is your goal/dream in life? I'm sure your parents are very proud.
If you are wondering about the consequences;there would be some sort of "accident" aboard the ship and it would sink.Old sailors proverb:"Dead men tell no tales" and the sea rarely gives up its secrets.

Let me be the first to get a ticket on this cruise ship.Sounds like fun, but would never happen.
Keep using your imagination and find something legal to make your money.
Good luck

You fall under the laws of the country the ship is registered to. If what you think is true then murder would be ok too.

Maybe not, but the U.S. would still blow you out of the water. Just like the raids in columbia during the 80's.
