A really good business/economics radio programme is 'Wake up to Money' on radio five live. It discusses in detail the days news in the business/economics world. It is usually broadcast at 5:30am every weekday but you can download the podcast free of charge from the BBC.

I would highly recommend it!! :)

BBC Radio 4 News, especially 'The World at One' (1pm every day).

Personally, I'd recommend reading publications such as 'The Economist' or 'The Spectator' as these go into far greater depth about the issues that really matter. It's more comprehensive and actually provides a defined outcome, unlike a lot of the useless journalists who are appointed for Economics reporting.

Clearly, J.M. Keynes was right when he said, "economics is a technical and difficult subject, though no one will believe it"...

Would you be asking for radio programs if you were concerned about, say, organic chemistry or linguistic anthropology? Probably not. What makes you think that economics is better carried over the radio waves than any other area of knowledge?

If you are interested in a subject, you should be looking for genuine educational opportunities, not dumbed-down exposes from the mass media...

I doubt there are any, especially not in the evening.

There might be some wall-street oriented morning show in NY area.

Otherwise all professionals get their info from press (WSJ, FT, BW) or TV (CNN mostly)

You can also listen to political talk shows, but they are more about policitics than Economics.
