This part made me laugh cause it is soo true: "I’m making $80 million a year – God must have intended me to have a lower tax rate.”

I am a conservative but I would vote for Buffet in a minute. He understands the plight of the average working class person and would not subject them to "tax death", unlike the dems. He would also keep more jobs from being pandered outside our country and keep the middle class alive, unlike the republicans.

But, he is not running so now what? I am voting for Ron Paul.

Buffet is refreshing. He periodically takes swipes at the emerging 'Management Class' that directors reward far to liberally to the detriment of the owners (stockholders) In his companies the Managers all have the majority of their assets in the company. In Buffets words 'they have a lot of skin in the game'.

Take a look at his message in the latest Berkshire Hathaway annual report. He takes a swipe at the Halliburtons of the country by pointing out that Berkshire Hathaway is a good Corporate citizen and pays taxes (someone has to pay for the highways, the army etc). He notes that if another 600 or so corporations in the US did the same we would not have a deficit.

A few years back there was a problem at one of their companies. Rather than put a spin on it, he flat out stated in the annual report he screwed up. He put the wrong person in charge of the subsidiary and did not perform His (Buffet's) job. As a consequence Berkshire Hathaways financials were adversly affected. It is nice to see a guy in that position that takes responsibility for his mistakes.
