I had the same problem. I came off my pills in May. I have had 2 60 day cycles, and 1 45 day cycle. I am now 5 days past ovulation. I have thought I was pregnant twice now, and it was a let down since I have been trying.

You probably aren't pregnant, and your pills should be completely out of your system by now.

It doesn't sound like the pill is making your tests read wrong. It is possible that your hormones got a little out of whack from stopping the pill, and that is the most likely reason for your missed period, from what you have told me. If you go another month without a period, go see the doctor.

No, Pregnancy is determined by HCG hormones. Birth control introduces more estrogen hormones into your system. These cannot be mixed up by a pregnancy test.

Its more likely that the birth control pills messed up your cycle, but did not interfere with the pregnancy test.

no it wont effect the test, maybe you are testing too early or you dont have enough chemical that makes the test show up positive in your urine yet
