help bugs!?

Question

I just found three small bugs in our brand new apartment. They are about 1cm long, have lots of legs, move sort of like an inchworm, are very thin with tiny light green stripes running down their backs and brown seseme seed like head. they also have a brown thing at the south end of their body. Any idea what they are, or how the heck they got in? need to know so I can tell the landlord, this is just number 35 on the list of serious problems with these new houses. Thanks for your help!

well, there isn't much outside. and we are on the second floor. however, the landlord said it might be because they were open for so long while they were building it.
