Is Mormonism really that bad?

Yes, he can pour as much money from his pocket to try to buy votes but that wont change the fact that he is not christian. the republican party has been moved to the far right and there is no room for a person that is not a christian. evangelicalist wont vote for him, and they wont rally behind him like they did Bush. The republicans are unsatisfied with their two front runners Romney and Giuliani bc of them not being ideal christians so we are seeing other far right republican candidates rise in the polls like Thompson and Huckabee.

I'd love to see Mitt Romney take the Republican nomination.

I want to see the Right Wing Religious Right stand there and tell us that voting for a *Mormon* is the best thing for their **Christian Nation.**

The Religious Right believes that Mormonism is a cult. They told us for 8 years that supporting or voting for Clinton was evil, equal to supporting the devil.

Now, I want to see them squirm and say that voting for a person they believe is part of a cult, is good for their "Christian America."

I'm dying to see that.

I hope not, as a christian I respect mormons for the family values they practice, I hope the average American voter pulls the lever for the issues we face as a nation and no a personal opinion of the canidate's religious beliefs.

It's hard enough to believe that anyone believes the christian myth but that mormon one is really out there, I'd be really affraid of anyone that will believe that one. Check it out for yourself, the places don't even exist or is there any proof they ever did, it's like a sci fi novel.

I doubt it. More likely it will be his silly comment where he said his kids were serving America like the soldiers in Iraq, by helping to get him elected. I'd take him over Rudy, but I don't really like him either.

I HATE to admit it, but his religion does bother me a little bit. It doesnt bother me so much, however, that I would vote for Hillary instead of him.
