I always try to take care of myself but in a week if I'm not any better or getting better I go to the doctor. I try to stay clear of antibiotic unless I just need too. Save them when I really need em

I try to take care of things myself.....there have been a few times in my life when I should have seen a doctor earlier than I did.

I usually go by the 3 day rule. If it hurts after 3 days, then I'll see a doctor.

Depends on HOW hurt or HOW sick. Normally though I give it a few days. I've learned from experience not to wait for more than a week if I'm not better by then.

No, I don't. I'm a single mom on a very limited income and don't have insurance. So I only go to the doctor if I absolutely have to (meaning something I can't fix myself with home remedies or OTC medicine).

Well, it would depend how serious the injury or sickness would be. But, I will try to care of matters on my own.

if i can i take care of it first and go as a last resort. i don't even see the doctor as i should being a diabetic. it's not a luxury i can afford considering i have no insurance. if the insulin wasn't as cheap as it is i wouldn't even be on meds.
