The same kit in that picture. Also how much would it cost?

Not according to the BMWUSA.com website anyway.

The "sportiest" you can get is the Sport package, which does NOT include any of the nice M-sport kit pieces that you've listed.

There's also nothing in the brochure they sent me either. So your best bet now (a little expensive) is to get the UK part numbers for the kit or individual pieces, order them in the US through the cheapest possible channel (I'm guessing pacificbmw.com or circlebmw.com) and have the local bodyshop spray them up and install for you here in the US. That's the only way to have a "unique" coupe now.

Yeah, Europeans normally tend to get the nicer stuff on BMWs. The US usually get it late or never at all.

But the 1-series coupe/convertible seems to be the exception though...

No and there are no plans for it as there is too small a market for it due to crash testing and reliability reasons- aka money.

Thank goodness the US has such high standards compared to Europe. The Chinese cars about to stand foot in Europe will never be allowed in America due to absolute dangerous crash testing results which present dangers to other motorists as well. The Chery Chinese Automotive group makes "the worst vehicle ever tested" yet it is allowed in Europe.

By the time you're done changing everything to look like an m3, you probably could have sold your car and bought a REAL used m3 for the same price.
